Darien RTM 'State Of The Town' Meeting Slated For Dec. 9

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Representative Town Meeting's State of the Town meeting is scheduled for Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

The meeting will feature several speakers from various town departments, including Planning & Zoning Chair Stephen Olvany, Board of Education Chair Jill McCammon, Board of Finance Chair Jim Palen, and First Selectman Jon Zagrodzky.

Zagrodzky said in his bi-weekly newsletter to the community that he will speak about not only the state of the town, "but a number of strategic issues, including our outlook for capital spending, plans for pedestrian infrastructure, and of course Great Island."
