Darien Schools Superintendent To Step Down: Reports
Dr. Dan Brenner has been superintendent for three years.

DARIEN, CT — In a surprising move, Darien Schools Superintendent Dr. Dan Brenner announced his resignation from the district Tuesday night to take over running an unnamed private school, according to published reports.
Brenner has been superintendent in Darien for the past three years, and he told the Board of Education that he wanted to inform them now to give the board more time to find a replacement, writes the Darien Times.
Negotiations with the private school have not been finalized, so he did not disclose the name of the school Tuesday night, according to the Stamford Advocate.
