Matt Lee poured in 24 points as the boys basketball team advanced to the finals of the annual La Vista tournament with a 65-34 victory over Stamford Academy on Tuesday.
It was the first win of the season for the Blue Wave (1-3), who will host Greenwich (3-1) in the finals on Thursday at 5 p.m. The Cardinals defeated New Canaan 56-42 in the other semifinal.

Liam Naughton added 10 points for the Blue Wave, who built a 32-16 halftime lead by outscoring Stamford Academy 17-5 in the second period.
New Canaan and Stamford Academy will meet in the consolation game on Thursday at 3 p.m. at Darien.

Kate Bushell and Meg Marren combined for all but six of Darien points as the Blue Wave also advanced to the La Vista girls final with a 39-32 victory over Foran.
Bushell had 17 points and Marren 16 for the Blue Wave (3-2), who overcame a 21-19 halftime deficit.
Darien, the defending La Vista champion, will play host New Canaan in the final on Thursday at 5 p.m. The Rams advanced to the final with a 46-28 victory over Greenwich.
Greenwich and Foran will face each other in the consolation game on Thursday at 3 p.m.
