The Jan. 14 meet, held at Westport’s Staples High School, showcased Darien’s particular talent and depth across the field and sprinting events. The Blue Wave faced off against rival high schools Fairfield Ludlowe, Greenwich, Harding, Stamford and New Canaan.

Highlights of the meet included first-place finishes for the Blue Wave in the pole vault, the 4x240 sprint relay, the 300-meter dash and a win and tie for second in the 50-meter dash.
