UPDATES
Lacrosse: The Darien boys lacrosse team, which finished 19-3 and defeated Ridgefield 10-7 in the FCIAC championship game, dominated the league's first team with eight selections. Darien's all-FCIAC first-team picks were:
- Case Matheis, attack
- Richard Gregory, attack
- Graham Maybell, midfield
- Eric Parnon, defense
- Christian Kolderup, defense
- Tony Britton, defense
- JP Walsh, faceoff
- Bayless Treen, long pole midfielder
In total, 14 Darien players were honored by the FCIAC. Attackman Ben Preston, midfielder Henry West, and midfielder Bobby Weaver were named to the second team. Dylan Torey, Tim Murphy, and Scott Waters earned honorable mentions.

The Darien girls, who won the CIAC Class M state championship, placed three players on the All-FCIAC first team: Ellie Bullitt, Brynn Gasparino and Emily Tropsa. Claire Dickson made the second team and Taylor Hardison was an honorable mention choice.
Little League: Darien American and Darien National begin play Wednesday in the District One Little League tournament. American opens with Federal (Stamford) at 5:45 p.m. at Frank Noto Field while National's first game is against Wilton at 7:30 p.m. at Bill Terry Field. Pool play continues through July 10.
