Darien Seeks Members For Building Board Of Appeals

DARIEN, CT — The town of Darien is seeking members to populate the Building Board of Appeals.

Members of this board must have very specific qualifications that are outlined in Section 30 of the Town Charter and CGS 29-266 of the State of Connecticut Statutes, the town said.

The board must consist of at least a plumber and an electrician. The remaining three members can be an engineer, an architect or a builder.

The town said this board does not need to hold regular meetings, but is called to convene as needed. There may be a year or more between cases that require meeting.
