Darien Selectman Budget Proposal Comes With Decrease
The BOE budget comes with an increase in proposed spending.
Darien’s Board of Selectmen put forth a budget proposal that comes with a 4.49 percent decrease over the current year.
The Board of Education budget passed Tuesday comes with a proposed 3.44 percent increase, according to the Darienite.
Both budgets now go before the Board of Finance and then the Representative Town Meeting for final approval.
