Darien Senior Legion Eliminated From Contention
A 2-1 loss to Wilton ends Darien's postseason hopes.
The state tournament hopes of the Darien Senior American Legion baseball team ended Thursday with a 2-1 loss to Wilton at Darien High School.
The defeat dropped Darien to 10-13, and with only four games remaining, there is no chance to get the needed 15 wins to qualify for postseason play.
The best Darien can now hope for is a winning season by running the table and finishing at 14-13.
