Darien Senior Living Facility Hires New Executive Director

From the Residence at Selleck’s Woods: The Residence at Selleck’s Woods, located at 1 Parklands Drive in Darien, CT and owned and operated by LCB Senior Living, LLC is pleased to announce the selection of Barbara Davis as the community’s new Executive Director.

Set to open during late 2018, the community will offer independent, assisted and memory care living residences to local seniors.

Ms. Davis has many years of experience in operations and sales management, several of which have been within the senior living industry. She has served with Stony Brook Court in Darien and Atria Senior Living at their communities in Stamford, CT. Prior to her role with LCB, she served as Executive Director with Maplewood Senior Living at their community in Newtown, CT.

Independent Living residents at The Residence at Selleck’s Woods will have private apartments with a kitchenette and bath, along with the peace of mind of 24-hour security, three nutritious meals prepared and served “Anytime Dining” style on-site, fitness center, available laundry and cleaning services, a full activities program, building and grounds maintenance, and a host of optional services. Assisted Living residents will have all of the above, along with assistance with the activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, medication reminders, and other services. They will also have access to LCB’s exclusive Emerald Suite concierge service, featuring a private suite, personal assistance with shopping and other activities, and a host of other services.

The community also includes LCB’s renowned Reflections Memory Care services for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments. In addition to offering sophisticated cognitive programming and a range of daily services, Reflections is a secure, safe environment with its own common areas, walking courtyard, and other amenities. All programming was developed in collaboration with the Harvard Medical School, McLean Hospital and Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
