Darien Smash-and-Grab Burglary Causes Thousands in Damage
Hundreds of dollars were taken from a store during the incident.
DARIEN, CT — Police are investigating after a smash-and-grab burglary caused $2,000 in damage to Frate's Wines and Liquors store.
In addition $375 was taken during the Dec. 15, incident, according to the Darienite. A thief used a rock to smash the store's front window overnight.
The cash drawer was taken once the thief gained access. The incident was caught on camera.
