Darien Superintendent Makes Budget Proposal
The proposal calls for an increase over the current budget.

School Superintendent Dr. Dan Brenner presented his proposed budget to the Board of Education at its Tuesday meeting.
The budget calls for a 3.85 percent or $3,492,000 increase over last year’s budget, according to the Darien Times.

Two areas focused on in the budget are professional development and technology, Brenner said.

The budget takes into account costs including negotiated salaries, benefits, utilities and other factors.
