Darien To Mark 25th Anniversary Of 9/11 With Memorial Ceremony

DARIEN, CT — The Town of Darien will mark 25 years since the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks with a memorial ceremony.

The Monuments and Ceremonies Commission will hold its annual ceremony on Friday, Sept. 11, at the town's 9/11 memorial located in the courtyard behind Middlesex Middle School. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 8:25 a.m. and is expected to last 35 minutes.

Since school will be in session, attendees should park in the rear parking lot.
