He is one of 15 contestants nationwide that will compete for a $100,000 grand prize.

DARIEN, CT—Darien High School junior Michael Borecki and New Canaan St. Luke's School junior Porter Bowman will compete in the Teen Jeopardy Tournament later this month for a $100,000 grand prize.

They are two of 15 teens ages 13-17 who will compete in the two-week event beginning Nov. 9. The episodes were taped earlier this year.

“The Teen Tournament is my favorite yearly event due to the energy and enthusiasm of our young contestants,” said Jeopardy host Alex Trebek. “Taping this year’s shows in D.C. only added to that feeling of excitement and also created a sense of occasion that was felt by everyone who participated in it.”
