Darien Town Hall Entrance Renovations Set To Begin
Crews will begin work on Thursday.

DARIEN, CT — The renovation of the entrance to Darien Town Hall is set to begin Thursday, Aug. 23, according to a post on the Town of Darien Twitter page.
The front entrance will be closed to the public from the 23rd through Sept. 17, though Town Hall itself will remain open and accessible.
Beginning Thursday, the side door near the gymnasium and rear doors will be used for entering and exiting Town Hall.

"Once inside of the building, all offices will remain accessible," officials wrote in a statement. "Construction signs directing employees and our customers will be in place. Doors to the rear of the Town Hall will remain in use for ingress and egress. The front entrance will be out of service from Thursday, August 23, 2018 and reopened on Monday September 17, 2018 weather permitting."
The construction project will include the rebuilding of both the interior and exterior handicap accessible ramps, among other improvements.
