Darien Updates Solicitor Ordinances
New fees and regulations have been established for door to door solicitors.
DARIEN, CT- The Representative Town Meeting voted to amend regulationsfor peddlers and solicitors in town.
Many of the regulations date back to the 1950's and 1970's, according to Darien News.
New amendments clarify permit rules and fees. They also mandate no soliciting before 9 a.m. or after sunset.
