Darien Voted for Foley by Narrow Margin
Foley beat McKinney in Darien by only five votes.

Darien voters selected Tom Foley as their GOP candidate in the Aug. 12 primary election, with 428 votes for Foley to 423 votes for state Sen. John McKinney (R-28).
Foley ultimately won the statewide vote. He will go up against Democratic incumbent Dannel Malloy and Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman on the Nov. 4 gubernatorial ballot.
