Darien Wins Another State Lacrosse Title
The Blue Wave was victorious on Saturday in Class L final.
DARIEN, CT — The Darien High School Blue Wave won the 2017 Class L state lacrosse title Saturday afternoon routing Cheshire High School 16-3, reports the Darien News.
The victory was the Wavers' fourth consecutive state title, and 55th straight win overall.
Everything clicked for Darien on Saturday, with stars Kevin Lindley and Logan McGovern combining for 11 of Darien's 16 goals, according to the publication.
