The incident occurred following an altercation at a local bar.

DARIEN, CT — A 22-year-old Darien woman allegedly threatened to kill Darien police officers, and spat on one of them, during an arrest on March 1 following an altercation at Chez Ernie's Café on Tokeneke Road, according to authorities.
Kendra Fitzpatrick, of Hollister Lane, was charged with breach of peace and interfering with an officer in connection with the incident.
Officers were called to the bar at about 9 p.m. on a report of an altercation between two patrons, one of whom turned out to be Fitzpatrick who was left the bar before officers arrived.

"Initially, Fitzpatrick refused to get out of her vehicle to be interviewed. When she finally complied and exited her vehicle, she physically confronted one of the officers and threatened to kill them."
Fitzpatrick told officers "that she struck the victim with the bottle because he was making fun of her."
While speaking with officers, Fitzpatrick tried to walk away several times, even though she was not told that she was free to leave.
"An officer finally attempted to physically stop her from leaving at which time Fitzpatrick became physically combative, requiring officers to physically restrain her. While officers struggled to restrain Fitzpatrick, she intentionally spit on one of the arresting officers."
Bond information for Fitzpatrick was not disclosed, but she is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on March 11.
