STAMFORD, CT — A 24-year-old Darien woman was given a summons after she refused to obey a lifeguard who ordered her to get off a jetty at Quigley Beach.
The rocks had a "keep off" sign posted, according to the Stamford Advocate.
The lifeguard climbed to the end of the jetty and the woman demanded to see the lifeguard's supervisor in person and then said she knew she wasn't supposed to be there, but wanted to know why.
