Darien's Annual Push-n'-Pull Parade Slated For July 4
The Darien Board of Selectmen granted approval for the event earlier this week.
DARIEN, CT — The 18th annual Darien VFW Post 6933 Push-n'-Pull parade is slated for July 4. The Board of Selectmen granted approval for the event earlier this week.
The patriotic parade will feature children riding bikes, scooters, wagons and non-motorized vehicles.
The parade will begin at 9 a.m. from Darien High School and end at the VFW Post at 205 Noroton Ave.

While official details have not been announced yet, past parades have featured contests for best-decorated vehicle with wheels, best-decorated float and most patriotically-dressed family.
There have also been food vendors and live entertainment, as well as a number of children’s activities.
