Darien's Freedom Of Information Request Could Be Published: Report

The move was suggested first by the Board of Education during a recent meeting of the town's Operations Planning Committee.

DARIEN, CT — Local officials are considering publishing a log of Darien's Freedom of Information requests, a practice already done in some other communities, reports the Darien Times.

The move was suggested first by the Board of Education during a recent meeting of Darien's Operations Planning Committee, but other town groups do not appear to be against it.

First Selectman Jayme Stevenson says the matter is still being discussed internally, and if Darien decides to adopt such a move, it will announce it.
