Deadline To License Your Dog In Darien Is Fast Approaching
The Darien Animal Control Officer will soon begin ticketing owners id a dog is found to be unlicensed.
DARIEN, CT — The deadline to license your dog in the town of Darien is coming up.
Beginning Oct. 1, the Darien Animal Control Officer will begin ticketing owners $75 if a dog is found to be unlicensed. Tickets can be issued during walks, loose/unleashed dogs, calls for service (barking or bites), at parks or during house visits, the town said in a Facebook post.
The cost to license your dog at the Town Hall Clerk's Office is $8 if spayed or neutered, and $19 otherwise.

Darien Town Hall is open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
