Details Announced For 2022 Darien Memorial Day Parade

DARIEN, CT — The town will proceed with hosting its traditional Memorial Day Parade on May 30, beginning at 10 a.m., according to an announcement Tuesday.

Terry Gaffney, chair of the Monuments and Ceremonies Commission's parade committee, said the event will start at the Goodwives Shopping Center, then march up the Post Road to Spring Grove Veterans Cemetery.

Once the parade arrives at the cemetery, the town's traditional commemoration ceremony, honoring those who lost their lives while serving in the armed forces, will take place at 11:15 a.m.
