DARIEN, CT — Half Mile Road near Mansfield Avenue (Route 124) is closed due to a downed tree and power lines, according to the Darien Police Depatment.

Drivers are being asked to seek alternate routes.

High winds are moving through the area Friday, with gusts as high as 39 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
