Drunk Man Smashes Car Window, Thinks It's His Girlfriend's: DPD
The incident occurred at the Noroton Heights train station on Sept. 12.

DARIEN, CT — An intoxicated Darien man smashed the window of a vehicle at the Noroton Heights train station last week, thinking it was his girlfriend's vehicle only to discover that it wasn't, which led to his arrest, according to Darien police.
Officers were dispatched to the station on at about 1 p.m. on Sept. 12 on a report of a drunk man breaking breaking the window.
"Officers arrived and made contact with the suspect, James Reardon," wrote Darien police in a statement. "MTA Police were on scene and had already located Reardon. Officers noted a cut on Reardon’s right hand, and that a Subaru Outback a few feet from Reardon had its rear driver’s side window broken out. When asked, Reardon stated it was his girlfriend’s vehicle and he broke the window to retrieve something from it. Officers noted Reardon appeared heavily intoxicated."
