DUI Crash Leads to Arrest for Darien Man: PD
The pole was sheared off in the crash, police said.
DARIEN, CT — A 60-year-old Darien resident was arrested after he crashed into a utility pole while driving under the influence, according to police.
The accident happened around midnight Dec. 10 into the 11th near the intersection of Mansfield Avenue and Fox Hill Road, according to the Darienite.
The utility pole was sheared off in the crash. He failed field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI and making an improper turn, according to police.
