Elderly Darien Resident Victim of Check Fraud: PD
An arrest is coming in the near future, police said.
DARIEN, CT — An arrest warrant is forthcoming after a 79-year-old Darien woman became the victim of check fraud, police said.
The woman's son checked her bank account and saw some irregularities. A total of five fraudulent checks were filled out for a total of $750.
A health care aide is a suspect, police said.
