Elderly Man Found at Bottom of Darien Pool Passes Away: PD
The man succumbed to his injuries.

DARIEN, CT—An elderly man passed away after he was rescued from the bottom of a pool on Meadowbrook Road Aug. 15.
Police were notified by Norwalk Hospital that the victim passed away Wednesday.
Police responded to Meadowbrook Road 4:30 p.m. Monday and found the unresponsive victim in about six feet of water.

"It is unknown how long the victim was submerged however he was not breathing and had no pulse," said police spokesman Sgt. Jeremiah Marron Jr.
Police performed CPR, and Darien EMS arrived and took over.
