Elderly Woman Struck By Motorcycle In Hit-And-Run: Darien Police

The collision occurred in the 400 block of the Post Road on June 4, Darien police said.

DARIEN, CT — An elderly woman was struck by a motorcycle in a hit-and-run on the Post Road in Darien last weekend, and police are asking the public for more information.

The collision occurred around 8 p.m. on June 4, police said in a news release.

Three motorcycles were seen driving recklessly when one of them hit a woman who was crossing the Post Road in front of Rory's Restaurant, police said. The incident was captured on security cameras located nearby.

Sgt. Dan Skoumbros said the woman suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The motorcycle, which also had a passenger, drove away and was last seen in the Glenbrook area in Stamford, police said. The other two motorcycles were later seen getting off Exit 8 on Interstate-95.
