Ernie's Bar Re-Opens in Darien

Ernie’s re-opened in Darien after being closed since May for renovations.

New owner Steve Palmer said he wanted to keep Ernie’s as close to the original as possible, but has cleaned-up and renovated the place, according to Darien Times.

The bar’s hours will be 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. most days and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

There will also be a sandwich menu and plans to add more hot items in the future.
