2nd Annual Spring Palate Awakening

Spring is just around the corner and so is one of our largest wine tasting events of the year. The 2nd Annual Spring Palate Awakening will take place on Saturday, March 24th. Equinox Fitness in Darien will once again be our gracious host.

This year's event will feature over 70 wines from more than 10 different suppliers. Wines will range from the tiniest of productions like the Demuth Kemos Cabernet Sauvignon, to one of our hottest selling wines, The Pinot Project. It's a unique opportunity to hear about the wines we introduce to you directly from those that bring them to us. Of course, where there’s wine, there should be food. Executive Chef Robert Troilo will be preparing samples from the Nicholas Roberts Gourmet Bistro spring menu.

This is the second largest fundraising event for Turning Wine Into Water, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing clean water and sanitation facilities to those that lack them in underdeveloped nations. As many as 26,000 children under the age of five die each day simply because they lack access to clean water. Each of these 26,000 deaths is preventable. We don't need to wait for a cure or a vaccine or a piece of cutting-edge technology. Clean water can be made available to those in need if WE have the will to make it a reality. But we can’t do that without your help. And helping has never tasted so good.

There is no charge for the tasting though Turning Wine Into Water will ask for an "at will" donation at registration. 100% of all donations go directly toward Turning Wine Into Water and 10% of all sales from the evening are donated to Turning Wine Into Water. We are often asked what is an appropriate amount to donate. Our answer is always the same, whatever you feel most comfortable with. Every dollar helps. Please join us for this very special event and please share this event with your friends. You can pre-register by sending an email to rsvp@nicholasrobertsltd.com.
