Christmas Worship with Choirs, Organ and Brass, Saint Luke's Darien

Darien’s Saint Luke’s Parish invites the public to join in worship and joyous music to celebrate Christmas.

To accommodate families with children, the parish offers two afternoon services on Christmas Eve that are especially appropriate for youngsters.

At 3 pm, a Children’s Christmas Even Service featuring the Primary Choir is designed for children up to grade 3. At 5:30 pm, the Family Holy Eucharist will appeal to children in Grades 4 and above. It includes music by the Junior Choir.

Later on Christmas Eve, Saint Luke’s pulls out all the stops (literally!) in two services of Festival Holy Eucharist, featuring the Senior Adult Choirs along with instrumental Christmas music by organ and brass. At 7:30 pm is a Christmas music interlude followed by the service at 8 pm; then at 10pm the Christmas music will repeat, followed by the service at 10:30 pm.

Saint Luke’s Christmas Eve services are heavily attended, so plan to arrive early for seating.
