The Darien Road Race takes place along scenic waterfront roads this Sunday, Sept. 19, beginning at 1 p.m. at Pear Tree Point Beach. The race, organized by , includes two events: a 10K course and 1.5-mile fun run.
The 2010 Darien Road Race benefits Bennett Cancer Center at Stamford Hospital, Whittingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital and The Community Fund of Darien, which supports over 30 local health and human service agencies in Darien, Stamford and Norwalk.
Awards will be presented.
