Please join the TRI-M Music Honor Society for a Concert this Thursday, February 10th at 7:30 pm in the Darien High School Band Room. DHS students will perform a variety of music, including jazz and classical. Refreshments will be provided.
Tri-M, or Modern Music Masters, is the music honor society at Darien High School led by Jonathan Grauer, conductor of the DHS Band and Jazz Ensemble. This society, sponsored by the Music Educators National Conference, has more than 5,500 chapters across the country, dedicated to recognizing the academic excellence of high school students and cultivating their musical interests. However, Tri-M serves a larger purpose than just honoring music students; as an organization, Tri-M serves to reach out to the community through student performances and music education.
