DLL Baseball Major's Tryout

DLL’s Majors baseball tryout will be held on Sunday, January 23rd, at Town Hall. 

- All 10, 11 and 12 year-olds (as of 4/30/2011) interested in playing in the Majors for the Spring 2011 season should attend the tryout.

- Players who played in the Majors in 2010 do not need to try out.

- The tryout time for players with last names beginning with A - L is anytime between 11:00AM and 1:30 PM. (Note: It is not necessary to arrive right at 11am. Each players tryout will last about 5 minutes and players are allowed to show up anytime during the 11am-1:30PM Window)

- The tryout time for players with last names beginning with M - Z is anytime between 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. (Note: It is not necessary to arrive right at 1:30PM. Each players tryout will last about 5 minutes and players are allowed to show up anytime during the 11am-1:30PM Window)


- If you are unable to attend on Sunday the 23rd, there will be a make-up date on Wednesday, January 26th, anytime between 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM, also at Town Hall. 


- Any 10 or 11 year-old that does not wish to play in the Majors in 2011 must attend the Minors evaluation session, which will be held on February 7th.

- Any 12 year-old that did not play in the Majors in 2010 must attend the tryout and will then be guaranteed a roster spot on a Majors team  


After the tryouts, Managers will draft players onto Majors rosters.  Those players not assigned to a Majors roster will be assigned to a Minors team.
