The 1940 Census will be made publicly available on April 2, 2012. Taken during the Great Depression and the New Deal and on the brink of US involvement in WWII, the 1940 Census documents Americans during a time of national struggle. This workshop will describe the genealogical information that can be uncovered through the 1940 Census.
