FLARE-UP! on Saturday, May 14th, will provide an opportunity for local boaters to fire marine safety flares and fire extinguishers, with instruction by the Darien Sail & Power Squadron. Bring expired flares and fire extinguishers to Weed Beach, or just come to the beach (9:30 - 11:30 a.m.) and you will be provided with flares that have been donated to this event.
