Meet the Winemaker - August Briggs

Since 1995, August "Joe" Briggs has been making a statement: small production, artisanal wines that he, himself, loves to drink. Acquiring a winery to call home in 2002, Joe has partnered with vineyards throughout Napa, Sonoma and Lake counties to source only the best, most expressive fruit. His wines are meant to be enjoyed young, soon after their release, and yet are complex and characteristic enough to age in any cellar. He joins us on Tuesday, May 4 here at Nicholas Roberts Fine Wines to pour some of his hand-crafted selections. Remember: these are limited production wines in small quantity.
