OPUS' Big Rig Gig

Excavators, tractors, back hoes, fire engines and other exciting trucks and cars are rolling into town on Sunday, October 3 for OPUS' eighth annual Big Rig Gig, a hands-on truck experience and fundraising event for the whole family. Children of all ages can climb behind the wheels of more than 25 big rigs and cool cars, take a ride on the Roaming Railroad, play on bouncy castles, dance to musical entertainment by the Bossy Frog Band, see a performance by Pender-Keady Dance Academy's Irish Step Dancers, play games in the new sports area -- and so much more. There will also be a silent auction and raffle, as well as food and t-shirts available for purchase. All proceeds directly benefit OPUS for Person-to-Person, a non-profit, community agency that responds to neighbors who lack basic necessities and/or resources.
