Future 5, a not for profit in Stamford, was recently awarded a grant from the Fairfield County Resiliency Fund. The Fairfield County COVID-19 Resiliency Fund has been established by Fairfield County’s Community Foundation with the support of generous funding from a cross-section of individuals, private foundations, corporations and others.

During the COVID-19 crisis, Future 5 is working to not only provide its traditional support and foster continuity in Future 5 student’s lives, but to also provide critical basic subsistence needs, including weekly food deliveries, to ensure that our students and their families emerge from this crisis intact.

Notes Future 5 Executive Director Rachel Dewey, “We are extremely grateful to Fairfield County’s Community Foundation for this critical support. This grant will help relieve additional obstacles that the pandemic has created for many of our students, and ensure that post-secondary educational access and persistence is not derailed by this crisis With the support of FCCF, we remain fully committed to helping our students stay on track to achieve their dreams of higher education and careers.”
