Finally! Details On Connecticut's 'Amazing' Weather Forecast

If you picked this week to be off from work and on vacation in Connecticut then you hit the jackpot. This week will feature plenty of sunshine, warm temps and the only significant chance for stormy weather appears to be next Saturday. There is only a 20 percent chance for some afternoon storms on Wednesday and Thursday.

WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Fred Campagna offers us some advice regarding Monday’s weather. “I'm not condoning it, but Monday's a great day to play hooky! There's more great weather ahead for this week…”

NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Darren Sweeney adds, “Look at this amazing stretch of weather! Each day features a couple of degrees warmer with a bit more humidity. Highest humidity and storm chances are toward the end of the week.”

Tuesday: Sunny, temps approaching 90 degrees.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 80s. A 20 percent chance of an afternoon thunderstorm.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s. 30 percent chance of a thunderstorm.

Friday: Sunshine, temps in the low to mid 80s.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Temps near 80 degrees.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, high temp near 80 degrees.
