Fingerprints On Car Stolen From Darien Lead To Arrest: Report
Police said a Hamden man was arrested after his fingerprints were found on a car reported stolen out of Darien.
DARIEN, CT — A Hamden man was arrested Wednesday after his fingerprints were found on a car stolen out of Darien last year, the Darien Times reports. The vehicle, a 2015 Ford Explorer, was reported stolen in February 2021 and found in New Haven a week after it was stolen, police said.
According to the Darien Times, an arrest warrant for Kelvin Solares-Viera, 26, of Hamden, said a forensic analysis of the car revealed two of Solares-Viera's fingerprints were found inside the vehicle. He was charged with first-degree larceny.
