First Selectman McNally Greets Students At Royle Elementary

Students went back to school in Darien on Monday.

DARIEN, CT — First Selectman Monica McNally helped greet students at Royle Elementary School on Monday, the first day back at school after a long summer break.

McNally was joined by Darien Assistant Superintendent of Schools Chris Tranberg for Royle's "Parade of Learners" Monday morning.

"With the return to school, it is important that everyone pay attention to the increased number of pedestrians, bicycles and cars on our roads and sidewalks," McNally said. "Thank you to our crossing guards who have the important job of helping our students and families navigate the intersections and crosswalks around our schools."
