Flooded Roads Reported In Darien: Police
Monday's heavy rains have led to traffic issues.
DARIEN, CT — Several roads in Darien were flooded by Monday morning's heavy rains, according to Darien police officials, who urged motorists to use caution while traveling through town.
"Please avoid flooded underpasses and do not drive around barricades," wrote police in an Instagram post. "Several roads are currently impassable."
Showers are expected to continue throughout the day, and wind gusts could approach 40 miles per hour. Rainfall totals could reach 2 inches, according to the National Weather Service.
