Former Major League Pitcher Dravecky Speaks at Rescue Mission Banquet

Dave Dravecky, who lost his pitching arm to cancer, will speak at the Bridgeport Rescue Mission's Restore Hope Banquet on Oct. 2.

After losing his pitching arm to cancer, major league pitcher Dave Dravecky began to question his worth and identity. A long personal search led to the understanding that nothing he did based on worldly success could place value on his life.

Today Dave relates to audiences of all ages with his story of loss and suffering and the hope he discovered along his journey.

Dravecky will present the keynote address at Bridgeport Rescue Mission’s Restore Hope Banquet on Thursday, October 2.
