The five-year property revaluation in Darien is complete. Updated assessment notices applicable to the assessment date of October 1, 2013 will be mailed on or before the last day in November 2013. After you open your envelope, you may have questions about your property's value and your new tax responsibilities. To learn about how the revaluation is conducted and where the tax money goes, please attend a free Darien community public service event on December 4th, 2013 beginning at 7 p.m. at Darien's Town Hall. The panel will be featuring Anthony Homicki, the Tax Assessor from the Town of Darien, as well as Doug Milne, from Kelly Associates Real Estate. The evening's program will be chaired by Ronald E.
