Future Darien Restaurant Suffers Theft, Vandalism: Cops
Bar items were reportedly stolen and some equipment was damaged.

DARIEN, CT — Two iPads that were earmarked for an ordering/register system were reported stolen June 12 from a "recently purchased restaurant space" on Center Street in Darien, according to local police.
The two iPads, each worth $200, had bee left on the bar and were discovered missing when one of the reporting party arrived at the restaurant.
"In surveying the rest of the building for missing items, he discovered that the beverage-service lines had been severed underneath the bar," wrote Darien police in a statement. "There were no signs of forced entry found at the entrances to the property."

Besides the value of the missing iPads, the damage to beverage lines is estimated to be about $400, according to the police department, which is investigating the incident.
