Helicopters Inspecting Power Lines In Darien: Eversource
You may have seen helicopters flying above town over the last few days.

Beginning last week, Eversource Energy has been conducting aerial inspections of high-voltage electrical equipment on several rights-of-way throughout Connecticut.
The work involves the use of a helicopter equipped with heat-sensing, infrared scanning technology which can detect potential equipment issues before they occur. The aerial inspections started Wednesday, July 19, and will continue through July 26.
Weather permitting, flights will take place from 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
