Here Are The 2019 Darien Parks & Recreation Summer Programs

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of programs for town residents, according to officials.

Registration for programs takes place online at www.darienct.gov/parkrec, at the Parks and Recreation office located in Town Hall, or through the mail. For more information please call the office at 203-656-7325.

SPRING/SUMMER 2019 PROGRAMS

Family Programs
Safe Boating Classes: Boat Safe Connecticut LLC comes to Darien to offer this eight hour course that will meet the requirements to obtain a Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate and Personal Watercraft Operations. We will be offering two classes in June. The first will meet on Tuesday, June 4th and Thursday, June 6th from 6 – 10 PM at the Darien Town Hall. Participants must attend both dates and all hours to be considered for certification. The second class will be held at the Weed Beach paddle tennis building on Saturday, June 22nd from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. The fee for this program is $90/Darien resident; $108/non-resident. Pre-registration is required.

• New Level Tennis Camp (ages 6 – 15, divided by age)
• Overtime Athletics Sports Spectacular (ages 5 – 12)
• Own Your Own Horse Camp (ages 11+)
• Rock Out Music Camp (ages 7 – 13)
• Sprout Chefs "Summer's Last Fling" Camp (ages 5 – 12)
• UK International Soccer Camp (ages 4 – 18, divided by age)
