Here’s Why Stella Was Shouted Out As A Darien Star Student

We all know students who excel in academic, fine arts or volunteer service. Here's one local resident who is having an impact in Darien.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

How do you know the star local student?

She is my daughter

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

She has a big heart, she has always takes the time to connect with others. She is very empathetic, she always go beyond her way to make people feel welcome and loved. When there are new students in her class, she invites them to play and introduce them to her friends. When there is name calling in class she goes to console the kid that is sad. She is the kind of person that makes the world a better place and happy for everyone.

She also started a green team group in her class, to clean the playgroup during recess. She got many students to join and help. The principal supported and really liked the project.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

She put away all of her wills and wants to make sure everyone is happy and welcome.

Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Stella!
